Note: if I've made a clearly bad block, such as something that appears to be vandalism at first glance but actually has a good explanation, please unblock without waiting for me to come back online. If it's something less clear, please at least get consensus on AN/I first. Thanks.

Please add new comments in new sections, e.g., by clicking here. Thanks.

Genuinely curious...[edit]

...as to why you felt these reverted edits required RD2. (please ping on reply) Primefac (talk) 01:22, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Is WP:ANI#Dan Wescher a sufficient explanation, or do I need to be more specific? --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 16:50, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Fixing ping to Primefac. I hope. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 16:52, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
My only thought is that it's not like we're trying to hide all mention of her, since we have had some pretty public discussions about it, so I guess I'm wondering what makes "why is she not on this article" at the talk page different than the same discussion at AN. While I find no issue with removal as a dead-horse situation, that specific post did not seem to meet RD2, that's all. It's not really a hill I feel any sort of strong urge towards defending, of course, so I suppose I'll just continue keeping an eye on things as I have been, and if others feel like things need RD, I'll leave that to them. Primefac (talk) 20:10, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I do see your point, but given the argument made in Archive335 that even having a BLP-compliant article would be harassment, I'd rather err on the side of caution here. As you say, it's been discussed, so if someone wants to connect the dots, do the research, and make the case without harassing BLP details, I can see that being done. That did not seem to be Wescher's goal here. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 20:58, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
